Chat with stakeholders

Each loan request has associated with it a chat system. The chat system takes into consideration all the participants of a loan request and splits them into multiple channels.

Channels

  • By default an application has a # General channel in which communication with the client occurs.

  • When there are multiple participants in the loan application, channels 1 to 1 with each individual client are also created.

  • # Legal - This is the channel in which the bank speaks directly to the notary assigned by the client

  • # Architect - This channnel is used to communicate directly either with the bank appointed architect or the client appointed architect.

Submitting messages in a channel

  • click on the chat input box at the very bottom
  • Type your message. You can format your messages by pressing the / hotkey. This will bring up a menu to select the heading types, bullets and other formatting
  • Press the send button or press shift+ENTER shortcut

Bank agents can create additional channels

  • To create a new channel press the Add Channel button
  • Select the participants from either the current list of participants, or internal team users.
  • Press Create

The participants are now added into a secure channel
